Matt Walker

headshot_Matt.png Born in the Midlands of England [Nottingham] but moved as a young man to Richmond on the Thames, London, in the early "60s" were he did amateur theatre before emigrating to Canada in 1965.  Obtained a BA in theatre from the University of British Columbia in 1973.  After working mostly on the stage Until the late '80s he then worked almost exclusively in Film and T V to the present day.

British films include Phillip Goodhew's 'Intimate Relations' as Stanley, Juilie Walters husband.  Peter Greenaway's "Nightwatching" with Martin Freeman.
American film and television roles, Mr. March, in 'Little women' with Susan Sarandon, Wicker Man, Spy Game, Alone in the Dark, Merlin in Stargate, X files, Highlander, Outer Limits and numerous others.

At the present time he is living on one of the Gulf Islands that dot the Pacific between British Columbia's coast line and Vancouver Island.  Matt is writing, recording music and spoken word, some film TV stuff, and doing the occasional one man show.
